I have upgraded the kernel on my linux box to 2.2.12 for the first time and when I look in my /var/log/messages file I am getting the following message: modprobe: can't locate module lo: 0 modprobe: can't locate module lo: 1 modprobe: can't locate module lo: 2 etc... and modprobe: can't locate module lo: 0 modprobe: can't locate module lo: 1 modprobe: can't locate module lo: 2 etc... Everything seems to be working fine in fact I get the following messages after modprobe has finished searching for both of these: network: Bringing up interface lo succeeded and network: Bringing up interface eth0 succeeded I would be very grateful for any help that I may be given.
