Windoze may be fussy, but it's easily fooled.  All that is needed is
to ask LILO to logically swap the drives when booting Windoze.  An
interesting side effect of this sleight of hand is that if/when you
reinstall Windoze it will clobber the MBR of /dev/hdb, leaving LILO
intact on the MBR of /dev/hda.  See

LILO version 21 has the REWRITE_TABLE option turned on so that you
don't have to compile it to be able to logically swap the drives.
