When I run the shutdown |command everything is killed nicely until the part when the filesystems |are supposed to be unmounted. I get a system trap and an immediate |reboot. When I reboot Linux, I consistently see that it has to repair |the file system and put it in a 'clean' state. |It's really annoying. | |I have mailed Red Hat support a week ago and I have yet to hear from |them. Have you installed the upgrade RPMs that fix various problems? Search the RedHat Web site for "errata colgate" and see if your problem is described there.
