The default route was the problem I was having. It was inserted
automatically by the installer when it detected my network card.

I found that when I installed on a different box (with Redhat 6.1) and told
it NOT to setup my NIC, that it worked fine. I then set up my NIC by hand
afterwards.

I also converted to usernet at that time because KPPP was pissing me off
from the previous install. Regardless mine works fine now.

If people want copies of any of my files let me know, Ill post.
