Help!

I have spent the last four days installing INN-1.5.1 on my home
computer. Everything is fine, apart from a large delay (1 or 2seconds)
for nnrpd to dish out an article, when issued with the 'article'
command. This is on a system with nothing else running.

If I issue a 'body' command then the response comes back instanly,
but using 'article' can take 2 seconds.

This is a problem because I like to use 'tin' to read my news,
if I use something else, like 'trn', then articles are dished out
instantly.

I have read the FAQ's and documentation, but after four days I am
beginning to get fedup. Hopefully someone out there will now
exactly whats wrong. 8-)

My system is a Pentium 60, 24Meg RAM, Linux kernel 2.0.30, installed
from slackware distribution 3.1 (I think). I also have a local
name-server running, but I don't see how this affects anything.

I previously had INN-1.4.something installed, and this had none of
the above problems. (I had a bigger problem in that I couldn't post
articles, well I could, but it complained like hell. On this
new version everything seems fine apart the delay).

Richard.
