This latter usually depends on the question if your partition table is correct or not. I can't tell right now. I could, if you post `fdisk -l /dev/hdXXX` But I agree with Peter T. Breuer, that it is far easier (And a better solution IMO) to create separate partitions for several subdir's. Eric
