Thank you Joerg !
As you suggested, I gave the following parameters to kernel 2.5.22 :
"ether=5,0x1000,eth0", and it worked. Actually the kernel decided that the NIC
was using IRQ 10 and another address than 0x1000, but it worked anyway.
I suppose I will have to pass this to the kernel until PCI stuff changes again
in 2.5.x.
