Hi, installed and booted RH5.2 on an IBM DCAS 32160 with a NCR53C8XX PCI adapter (Tekram DC 310U). SCSI driver was installed as module and worked just fine. After compiling driver into kernel I get following error message while booting up: .. Partition check: JAVA Binary support .. VFS: Cannot open root device 08:01 Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:01 Any idea? Best regards, Frank
