Hi,
I have a Buslogic BT-545S scsi card which I have a scsi hard drive
attached and am trying to install redhat linux 4.2 onto. The card and
drive work fine in dos and 95 but linux setup doesn't detect the card.
I've tried using boot arguments like.. boot: linux BusLogic=0x130 that
didn't work...tried different irq, i/o port address setting but didn't
work. All that comes up is scsi: 0 hosts.
Anyone that can help me please do!
Thanks.

I had a similar problem with an adaptec card. Turned out, that the card had 2 SCSI channels and LINUX could only support the A channel. I switched the connector and everything worked. Try adding the following line to your /etc/conf.modules file: alias scsi_hostadapter BusLogic That is what I had to do...
