I have just downloaded the above-mentioned 4.03.  It looks good, but
when I try to access the JDK1.1 tutorial, it barfs on animations,
throwing a continuing stream of NullPointer exceptions, among other
things.  This is a problem, because I wanted to use it for JDK1.1 applet
access.

I moved the gnumalloc.so lib to the new netscape directory, and set up a
wrapper that exported LD_PRELOAD, as I had for 3.01.  This made no
difference.  Any ideas?
