HELP! I cannot boot - PCI errors

Dear Linux community,

Linux will not boot! I insert the floppy, turn on the computer and,
after a bit I get to the boot prompt wait. I get the following:

	Loading Ramdisk..........
	Loading Linux...

And bang! A message pops up on the screen (which very quickly scrolls
off due to lots of hex numbers):

	Unrecognised PCI device...(something)... /include/linux/pci.h

I have been trying very hard to fix this problem. I have read every
HOW-TO and every document and every news group and tons of web sites
attempting to sort out this problem to no avail.

My system is as follows:

Motherboard:
ASUS PCI/I-486SP3 with on-board NCR 53c810 PCI SCSI controller
	Intel 486DX2-66
	16MB RAM

IDE:
	1.4 Panasonic FD

SCSI:
	id0: 1G Seagate HD (terminated)
	id1: Conner HD (unterminated)
id2: MediaVision 2xCD-ROM (no jumper settings)

PCI:
	INT A: free
	INT B: Diamond Stealth 32 (irq 11)
	INT C: free
INT D: hardwired to SCSI controller (irq 9)

ISA:
	Slot 1: free
Slot 2: Media Vision Pro Audio Spectrum 16 with on-board SCSI
controller which is unused but non-terminated (irq 5?)
	Slot 3: free
Slot 4: Genius B&W scanner card (irq 7?)

I would really appreciate any help.
