up2date fails on popt error

I have just finished installing RH 6.2 on an old PC (it wont start
later versions of RH linux), and have almost finished installing all
the (downloaded from a mirror) updates (using rpm)

The only packages left to finish the update (and probably the most
important, as they will make future updating much easier) are
up2date-2.7.11-6 and up2date-2.7.46-6, as well as the 'gnome'
versions of these same packages.

However when I run "rpm -Uvh --test up2date-2.7.11-6 (etc) I get the
following error:

"error: failed dependancies:
up2datepoptmodule.so is needed by up2date-2.7.11-6"

I get the same error on all these files.

I cannot find a rpm update which contains this module - can anyone
advise what provides this, so that I can complete the installation?

Regards,
Graham Daniell
