That says it all. I tried to install my rpms from one HD (hda1) to another (hdb1). The installer said that an error occured reading hda1. When I tried to get it to reread hda1 it said error couldn't mount drive. Did I get a bad boot image? Joe Tseng Go Yankees!!! Kill the Orioles!!!

(or what params did you provide with the mount command?) You could also try fsck.ext2 /dev/hda1 and see what comes up. > Go Yankees!!! Kill the Orioles!!! I'm not a BIG O's fan (and in fact cheered for the Yank's when I was in my formative years in "Joisey"), but couldn't they be charged with (a) having 10 men on the field and (b) hiring a minor after last night's game. Best example of "home field advantage" I've seen in a while. Steve Greene sgreene@washsq.com
