Good morning!

I am trying to set up a system with 4 displays. We are using an Nvidia
GeForce MX440 AGP and three ATI Radeon 7000 PCI cards with XFree86 4.2.0
(from SuSE 8.0).

I manage to run the nv and any one of the ati cards simultaneously with
xinerama, but not more than one ATI card at a time.

XFree gives me these errors:
(WW) RADEON: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:2:13:0)
found
(EE) Screen 2 deleted because of no matching config section.

Is this a known problem? Should it be possible tu use several PCI cards of
the same type?

My device and server layout sections look like this:

Section "Device"
  BoardName "GeForce4 MX 440"
  BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
  Driver "nv"
  Identifier "Device[0]"
  VendorName "NVidia"
EndSection

Section "Device"
  BoardName "ATI Radeon VE"
  BusID "PCI:2:11:0"
  Driver "ati"
  Identifier "Device[1]"
  VendorName "ATI"
EndSection

Section "Device"
  BoardName "ATI Radeon VE"
  BusID "PCI:2:10:0"
  Driver "ati"
  Identifier "Device[2]"
  VendorName "ATI"
EndSection

Section "Device"
  BoardName "ATI Radeon VE"
  BusID "PCI:2:13:0"
  Driver "ati"
  Identifier "Device[3]"
  VendorName "ATI"
EndSection

Section "ServerLayout"
  Identifier "Layout[all]"
  InputDevice "Keyboard[0]" "CoreKeyboard"
  InputDevice "Mouse[1]" "CorePointer"
# Option "Clone" "off"
  Option "Xinerama" "on"
  Screen "Screen[0]"
  Screen "Screen[1]" Rightof "Screen[0]"
  Screen "Screen[3]" Rightof "Screen[1]"

EndSection

I tried setting it up by hand as well as using sax2. Sax2 did recocnice all
4 cards and let me arrange 4 monitors, but would also only show two
displays when testing.

Thank you,
 Stefan
