I got the same error when running Corel WPO 2k and also PhotoPaint 9 (free
edition).

In my test environment it does work after Updating from Mandrake 7.1 to
Mandrake 7.2, unfortunately it fails into my primary system. No choice to
get it work, I re-installed all RPMs packages for WPO and PP..

Any solution is welcome, I real need to get it work!

Thanks,
Thomas
