ASEDIT under Linux ??

Hi,

has anyone sucessfully compiled and WORKED with the

ASEDIT editor (A.Stochniol@ic.ac.uk) under LINUX ??
My lastest versions are 1.31, 1.32 ..
Version 1.31 runs pretty well under SGI IRIS 5.3 ...

Compiling is no problem, but I have discovered the fact of a

DEADLOCK
========

of asedit (some internal loop_for_ever ..)
These deadlocks often, not always, happen in the search widget ..

Thanks in advance
Markus

I am also interested in using asedit too but haven't been able to
compile successfully (my Linux /C knowledge is limited).

Please reply to this article if you have asedit for Linux.

Thanks
