I have looked through the MACH documents I can find on the network, such as the manual describing the system calls. However I cannot find any document that gives an overall description of what MACH is all about and how it achieve the solution to the problems it is trying to solve. What I am looking for is not Yet-Another-How-To-Use-It document, but rather one that gives a general description of all phases of it, especially the low level implementation issues. There seems to be a lot of things lacking in MACH. Perhaps this is because I don't see how the existing things are really supposed to be used. For example, how is I/O to be done? -- /***************************************************************************\ / Phil Howard -- KA9WGN -- phil@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu | Guns don't aim guns at \ \ Lietuva laisva -- Brivu Latviju -- Eesti vabaks | people; CRIMINALS do!! / \***************************************************************************/
