As a followup, I apologize for my flaming. I still don't like the idea of using AT&T code -- it grates on me to think that I can't get this stuff for my Mac simply because I haven't paid AT&T. I MAY be able to get BSDSS from someplace that still has it, but the future legality of it is questionable. I stand by my ideals, however, and am formulating my plans right now on how to accomplish this port. The first stuff I have to do, though, is hack minix to make it a nicer build environment for Mach (i.e. >14 char filenames, GNU C compiler, CMU-like Make [enuff so to use stock makefiles -- don't know how hard that'll be]). But I apologize if I offend; I guess I'm just an offensive kinda guy. Come to think, one of my (girl)friends got me some cologne for Christmas -- could I even smell offensive :-) :-) :-). Seriously, I'm sorry, and Happy Holidays. TTFN, Chris --- Chris Hanson -- chanson@mtlookitthat.chi.il.us "Join the Illuminati and see the world... differently." -- SJG GURPS Illuminati manual
