mk78 compiler warning
#1181

Should I be concerned about the following compiler warning? I'm
attempting to build mk78 for an i386 platform. I did not modify
the source from CMU.

  gcc -c -O -MD -DMACH -DMACH_KERNEL -DKERNEL
../../../../../src/mk/kernel/kern/eventcount.c
  kern/eventcount.c: In function evc_continue:
kern/eventcount.c:135: warning: `volatile' function does return

And how about this one?

   gcc -c -O -MD -DMACH -DMACH_KERNEL -DKERNEL
../../../../../src/mk/kernel/device/chario.c
   device/chario.c:169: warning: initialization between incompatible
pointer types

I guess I naively expected the unmodified, plain vanilla kernel to
compile cleanly
with no warnings. All other files were ok. False expectations or
cockpit error?
