Greetings NetWorld from the sunny Athens, Greece!  I have a question
about the famous WinVN NNTP Windows 3.1 News reader.

I am currently using the WinVn 061 but the first problem is that
it only supports COM1 and COM2.  I have a friend that needs to
use this WinVn with COM4 since he doesn't want to switch things
around on his PC.

WinVn 061 is the last version I believe that can work fine under
Windows 3.1 and with a serial port.  The latter versions they
keep asking you for winsock.dlls and pctcpapi.dlls and it's a
big mess for users that want to work with a modem and a serial
port link.

Any help or information on this subject will be greatly appreciated!
