I have WFW with the tcp32 stuff installed. I can telenet to a SCO machine and all works. I want to know were I can go from here. 1. I cant telent from the SCO host to the WFW PC. WHY???? 2. I want to be able to read the files on the WFW PC from the SCO host for backups etc. How do I do this. (maybe same as problem 1) 3. I want to run X11 apps on my WFW that reside on the SCO host. What do I need to get this working. -- Daryl Sayers Ph: (02) 818 3211 Stone Microsystems Fax: (02) 818 3070 20-22 Fred St. Lillyfield, Sydney Email: daryl@stone.oz.au

You have some sort of telnet daemon running on the sco machine that
allows a telnet client to connect. You don't have one running on the
WFW machine.

You can run an FTP daemon on the WFW machine. A good shareware one
is wftpd196.zip available by anonymous ftp from ftp.monash.edu.au
in the /pub/win3/winsock directory. If you install this you can then
ftp files from the WFW PC over TCP/IP.

I am not sure about this but you will need some sort of windows
X client. I think there is one in the same directory as wftpd.
Let me know if this helps.
