Hi fellow Windows(tm) lovers, I just wanted to know if MacAffee have updated their virus scanner to detect and remove the Windows95 virus? The guys down in engineering made me install this monster over my beloved BASIC interpreter and it's taken over my machine. HELP! -- IBM and Apple stole my .sig!

I don't know, I was on the phone w/ McAfee yesterday and they said that they were aware of the bug but no cure has been found yet ... I believe they want you to handle it just as Version 2.2.2 handles Da_Boys Virus. Delete the MS-DOS.SYS and IO.SYS and reinstall the OS !!! Have fun ! John Meek Besides, I thought you Microsoft guys were all in the same boat over this, ya know, zombies to the BILL. I was offered a job w/ Microsoft to provide telephone tech support for Windows 95, no doubt sometimes it will need a hazardous pay scale but it sounds interesting enough ....
