Hi I have problems playing networkgames on my PentiumII. It has an ATX board, a pci ne2000 card and win95 installed. Filesharing, microsoftnetwork, ipx, netbeui is installed correctly. In "other computers" the other computers in the network is shown correctly, and I'm able to copy from other computers in the network. But when it comes to playing networkgames it doesn't work. I.e. RedAlert: When trying to start networkgame, the screen resets back to options screen. Duke3d: When running setup, and selecting network game, the dos-box exits after trying to establish contact on ipx: 0. What the heck is wrong here? On another pc it works fine, with the exact same settings in network. Have I missed something when using PentiumII, or is it the ATX-board???? regards Helge H Christensen hoybye@writeme.com

I had one with Duke 3D. Try different graphics modes and change the graphics driver. Also, use the NDIS driver with Windows 95. I hope you're not using an old real-mode NE2000.COM!
