I am using Windows NT Workstation 4.00. My brother wants to play Dungeon keeper on my computer and i want to let him, but that's all i want him to do. I don't want to give him access to the command prompt, registry editing, the find command and windows nt explorer. Could anyone talk me through how this could be done. I tried to do this using poledit but i can't seem to find it on my workstation cd-rom? I would be very grateful if you can help. pmcgratt@globalnet.co.uk

Geez...watch the cross posts. Anyway, NT lets you specify any program to
be a default shell via the registry. So just specify Dungeon Keeper as
your brother's default shell. ;-)

This should be possible using Policies/Profiles. As I recall, there is an
option available via the Profile Editor that allows the Administrator to
disallow "everything" except a set of programs which are listed. Sorry
I can't be more help.
David
P.S. Poledit location(s):
It isn't on the NTWorkstation disk.
On the NTServer disk it is in: <CDDriveLetter>\CLIENTS\SRVTOOLS\I386
On the NTServer disk it is in: <CDDriveLetter>\I386
On the NTResourceKit disk it is in: <CDDriveLetter>\CLIENTS\I386
God luck. dfs

Interesting. I didn't know. Do you know which are the exact registry keys?
