Do you want NT server ? Try to compile and use the next program :(

#define _UNICODE
#include "windows.h"
#pragma hdrstop
#include "stdio.h"

/*
     This program was compiled by Microsoft Visual C++ 4.0. Before you
   start it, you should exit all other programs. (When this program
   stops, you must use RESET to restart your computer).

     Before you use this program, you should make copy of NT registry
   database (\winnt\system32\config\*.*). Then, if your NT directory
   is on FAT, you can restore original configuration if something goes
   wrong. (And it sometimes it GOES wrong!)

     This program don't work if service pack 1 has been applied. But
   you can first use this program and then apply service pack 1. This
   should work fine.

     Last, but not least, you should read again your NT licence whether
   everything you are doing is legal. I thing that (according to law in
   our country) running and distributing this program is legal but you
   are still limited by NT Workstation's licence (you agreed with the
   licence when you installed NT).

   p.s.Uz se tesim na ceske vydani NT. Jsem zvedav, jestli to bude stejne
   trivialni... A nakonec pozdrav: Where do We want You to go Today?

HKEY OpenK(HKEY hCurrent,LPSTR pKey)
{
   HKEY hNew = 0;
   RegOpenKey(hCurrent,pKey,&hNew);
   return hNew;
}

void main()
{
   SetPriorityClass(GetCurrentProcess(),REALTIME_PRIORITY_CLASS);
   SetThreadPriority(GetCurrentThread(),THREAD_PRIORITY_TIME_CRITICAL);

   HKEY hNew; BYTE Data[10]; DWORD Type,Size;

   hNew = OpenK(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,"System");
   hNew = OpenK(hNew,"CurrentControlSet");
   hNew = OpenK(hNew,"Control");
   hNew = OpenK(hNew,"ProductOptions");
   RegSetValueEx(hNew,"ProductType",0,REG_SZ,(const unsigned
char*)"ServerNT",9);
   RegFlushKey(hNew);

   hNew = OpenK(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,"System");
   hNew = OpenK(hNew,"Setup");
   RegQueryValueEx(hNew,"SystemPrefix",0,&Type,Data,&Size);
   Data[7] |= 0x4;
   RegSetValueEx(hNew,"SystemPrefix",0,REG_BINARY,Data,8);
   RegFlushKey(hNew);

   printf("Wait for several seconds and then press RESET ... and enjoy your NT
Server");
   for (;;);

Can anyone just go into RegEdt32 and do the same thing?

Why have another program do it for you?

Well, under NT 3.51 using RegEdt32 would have been enough.
Under NT 4.0, you have this nasty little thread that monitors any
changes to the particular keys in question. If it notices you changed
one and the value of the other doesn't "match" the value of the other,
it'll put up a warning and change it back.

The little program basically raises it's priority so high that this
thread doesn't get a chance to run before the two keys get changed.

That's one of the ways to hack NTW 4.0 to NTS 4.0...
