Netware NT Client

I am new to this, so I may not be explaining the problem with the correct
technical words.

I have a NT 4.0 workstation logging into a Novell 3.x server using the Novell
NetWare NT Client, as opposed to MS Client Service for NetWare, which came with NT.

When you login to a Novell 3.x server, the system login script, profile login
script then user login script are run in that order. In the profile login script,
some printing capture statments occur. I want to eliminate capturing to LPT1
so that I can print to a local printer printer, so I have an end capture statement
in my user login script. I setup LPT1 with a local printer, both physically and
within NT. Whenever I print, however, the print job goes to the printer captured
in the profile login script and not the local printer. And the Novell NW NT client
is set to run the login scripts.

This setup used to work in windows for workgroups, it still works if I boot to my old
setup and it works if I use the MS Client Service. So why can't I get it to work
with the Novell NW NT Client?

In Document ID: 2906445, Novell says "The NetWare NT Client (Revision B) does not
support login scripts for any 2.x, 3.x or 4.x servers. It also does not support
Search Drive Mapping or Capure Statements."

I'm not sure I understand this statement since my login scripts run fine
with the exception of this problem. Any ideas?
