Swap file on non formated partition?

Is it possible to use a non-formated partition (I think) to use for swap?
I have dos, nt and linux runing on the same machine. My idea is to make nt
use the swap partition used by linux (that I think is not formated) to
save disk space and improve nt performance. If the partition isn't
formated, nt could put the swap pages without passing through filesystems
(I think that's what linux does) using the disk maximum transfer rate.
If someone knows if it is possible or not, and if it is how to do it, I'll
apreciate some help.
P.S. - Sorry about my poor english.
Reply me by email please. (i19846@caravela.di.fc.ul.pt)
Thank's in advance....
