HUMBLE PIE+COREL FAULT: Can anyone delete an empty directory???

Hi all,

A few of you may remember replying to me that you could not reproduce the
bug I set out below. It has plagued me for almost a year. And I blamed
Microsoft for the fault because the Explorer shell kept holding file handles
open, stopping me from being able to delete empty directories in certain
circumstances.

After going through and systematically testing for the bug while installing
one application at a time I have isolated the bug to a third-party
sub-application called "Corel Versions". This can be installed as part of
CorelDraw 9. If I uninstall this part of CorelDraw 9 I can at last delete
empty directories at will.

This is the most devious bug I have ever come across. And it was not
Microsoft's fault (so my previous comments were totally misguided).

Regards,
Adam
