Hi, i recently posted about the windows NT service 4 crashing my
computer and i ended up having to reinstall the whole d*mn thing (or
at least i was unable to come up with any better ideas). This time i
installed the service pack first then a few other odds and ends all
with no problem... until i installed the sound blaster live software.
once it restarted the computer i was then left stranded at the bluish
green screen right before the ctrl+alt+del is *supposed* to show up.
After i calmed down i treid rebooting and tried the safe mode (even
though it did not help before) and it did not help. My question is,
has anyone else had this problem? if so do they have any ideas about
a solution? Thank you in advance.

                  -Gaiko

Have you checked creative labs web site. It appears there is new software
especially for those running SP4.

I had the problem installing the CDROM Live drivers and letting the system
reboot. I have been able to get my Live Value card working by installing NT4
then Sp4 then the Live CDROM install _THEN_ do not let the Live installer
reboot the system. Immediately install the SBlive NT update and then reboot.

All works well after that.
