1st boot after NT install system stucks

I have w98 installed in a primaire part. After that i installed NT4 on a
other Pr.part. and made it active.
The system doesn't boots anymore.
Some guy had the same thing. After a change in the bios it does work.
But he doesn't know anymore what he has changed.

Does anyone know. Let me know

system:
PII 400 -128 MB
Chaintech BT6 motherboard
Awardd bios.
