Has anybody got this controller (buslogic 946c) to work with NT3.51 and convert FAT to NTFS? I have looked everywhere and the best solution is to break the drive in partitions. TIA

I have two machines running that way with no problems (although I didn't run
convert, just set them up for both fat and NTFS partitions).
You should have no problems if you use "disk administrator".

I have the BT-946c and NT 3.51 (w/o any service packs or shell) and converted a FAT partition to NTFS with no problems that I'm aware of. Since you mentioned multiple partitions, the FAT I converted was the second partition on the disk and is where I installed NT. -jl

I have a 4G drive, and all heck broke loose when I tried to make one NTFS partiton on it. Breaking it into two equal-sized partitions cured it. =Art=
