Can I set NT Wrkstn to Auto Logoff users

Good-day
I have just installed 5 PCs on the plant floor to be used to view & print
files and to send e-mail.

I want to have the PCs to auto-logoff the user if the system is not being
used for more than 3 minutes.

The problem that I have is that the system will lock, but it will not
logoff the user. How can I change this.

I am running WinNT 4.0 Wrkstn?

Thanks
Allisan

This could be done with a custom written screen saver. I'm sure something
out there exists like this. I may write one ... it would be pretty easy.

Too late. The Windows NT Resource Kit ships such a thing. Search there
for winexit.scr!

Best regards,

The NT4 Resource Kit (supplemental 1) contains a WINEXIT screen saver that
does just what you want...

Have a look at my /nt/misc web page.
It does exactly describe how to install winexit.scr

Winexit.scr is a nice tool - even stops DOS box - but does anybody know
about an auto-logoff that works even if the workstation was LOCKED by
the user? winexit only terminates all applications, but the WS remains
locked. We have this problem in a public NT-pool and want to auto-logoff
after say 20mins or so.
