Help! I have deleted a NTFS partition with DOS Fdisk and I need to recover
it!
Partition magic recognizes it as NTFS but it gives me some "check errors"
After tampering with a disk editor, I wrote the correct partition info into
the partition table
but it is not enough... what do I need ?

Are there tools to fix this problem?

Thanx A LOT for any help

I got a similar problem when my IDE CD-Rom went out to lunch whilst NT
was writing to my harddrive. Thereafter NT wouldn't start, it bombed
out whilst checkdisk was running at bootup.

The solution that worked for me was to use the freeware dos utility
NTfsdos which enables dos to read NT partitions, to copy all the data
to another partition and use it to rebuild the NT partition.
