you'll need to add a code module where you declare global variables. to do
that, go to "project" on the menu bar, and choose "add module". a code
window will open, and it will add itself to the project window in a module
folder (which doesn't really exist if you look for it through windows
explorer). inside the module, declare variables as shown below.

public <var_name> as <data_type>

these variables will be accessible to any form in the project. so, before
you unload frmDataEntry, you'll need to assign values to the global
variables based on the user's input.
