Some users of a C/C++ program I wrote are having a problem printing to LPT1 in a DOS app when it runs under Windows for Workgroups. The program uses fopen() to open the LPT1 device in "w" (write) mode. The fopen() fails to open the device. When the user exits to DOS and uses the COPY or PRINT command, output correctly goes to the printer. Should they use LPT1.DOS or something like that? I'd greatly appreciate any advice on this. Please respond via email if possible (kbennett@cpcug.org). - Keith -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keith Bennett Bennett Business Solutions, Inc.
