We have a TB based software that is distributed on CD. The user can either run it from CD or install to HD. The program uses ODBC 16. To install for running from CD setupmanager has to: 1. Install ODBC drivers into WinSysDir 2. Create ODBC.ini files 3. The datadirectory in odbc files has to point to cdrom for HD install: as above, but datadirectory has to point to hd 4. copy program files. Is there a setup program, that can modify ini files according to a user selection? Till now we use the (not up to date) setup manager included with Toolbook. CD install is the default and HD install overwrites the CD install settings. Not only free and easy to use, but it will do all of the above. Try searching Yahoo to find it on the Web. - Hicks University of Texas at Austin
