Software Engineer III - MFC! - Enter this Pre-IPO environment and develop client/server, intranet/internet, multi-threaded commercial software applications and their associated user interfaces (UIs), using a three tiered architecture, Visual C++ 6.0, MFC, list view, tree view, Win32 API, COM, SQL Server, Oracle and the Windows 2000 platform. This is a senior level team of developers enjoying a functional facility. Heavy design, development, documentation, and testing with Visual C++ amd MFC. Thorough documentation is done. New projects are setup with deadlines estimated by developers. Telecommute two days per week. Required Skills: College degree or equivalent work experience in software development, heavy MFC, heavy UI development, 3+ years Visual C++, and Win32 API experience. 2+ years MFC required. 2+ years Win32 required. (not MFC wizards or document views) "hard core" MFC! Desired Skills: multi-threaded applications development, multi-tiered architecture, ODBC, COM, SQL Server, Oracle Non-Tech Skills: Very good spoken and written English communication skills. US citizenship or US permanent residency required.
