Hi! Unfortunately I saw only the subjects of postings from Jonatan Guzman
and Trevor Jenkins. 

If you two had a solution & example code for implementing status line 
would you please repost it here?

Currently I have a need for a status line like one in Quick C or Winword, it
should have few text fields to display help on menu choices, app events etc.
