programming editors for windows?

I'm looking for a good editor to use under windows for programming
in Microsoft C/C++ 7.0, both for windows programs and non-windows
programs. Currently we're using Brief 2.1 for Dos, which kind of
makes sense since Mc/c++7.0 isn't a windows app either :-), but the
boss wants me to look at windows editors. I've ordered Codewright 2.0
and a demo copy of ED for Windows. What else should I look at? Is
EditPro any good? It's certainly cheap....
