Reinventing the C++ wheel (Generic class library question)

I would like to hear what kind of generic c++ class libraries you all use out
there. You didn't all design your own String class, did you?

Is anyone using Tools.h++ ? Is it good value for money?
Are there perhaps any good PD or shareware packages on an ftp site somewhere?

Please post or email.

Thanks,

	Robert
