Something like this ought to work. (This isn't the simplest way to do
this, but it's probably the most versatile; and since I'm not entirely sure
how you want this to work--whether you want your app to wait until the user
finishes with the control panel, etc.--I'll go with that.)
SHELLEXECUTEINFO shell;
memset(&shell,0,sizeof(shell));
shell.cbSize = sizeof(shell);
shell.fMask = SEE_MASK_DOENVSUBST | SEE_MASK_NOCLOSEPROCESS;
shell.hwnd = myAppHwnd; /* your app's main window, or
AfxGetMainWnd()->GetSafeHwnd() for an
MFC app */
shell.lpVerb = NULL;
shell.lpFile = "%windir%\\system32\\rundll32.exe";
shell.lpParameters = "shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL INETCPL.CPL";
shell.lpDirectory = "%windir%";
shell.nShow = SW_SHOW;
BOOLEAN bSucceeded = ShellExecuteEx(&shell);
