Is there a known problem with McAfee3.1, WinZip6.2 or TweakUI which would cause a memory leak in NS-Scenes?? On the same day I installed the above three (McAfee crashed during first attempted install, but was okay on 2nd). Since then I am getting weird cache problems of the growing and not shrinking kind. MS-Scenes seems to grab and grab, getting worse over time, so that after about 8 hours it needs a 60Mb cache.... [It could be something else running, but Scenes has caused non-reducing cache increases in my first "tests" to try to find the cause.] VShield is running - could it be that? Testing needs a few hours between guesses, so is going very slowly... :( -- Andrew Brydon Life is just the beta-version of death

(128MB of RAM - Boot then 4-5 hours idle = lets use swap file) Maybe Win' 98 with it's 'improved' memory management will sort this out :-) -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- - Stuart Millington - - phupp@wormhole.demon.co.uk phupp@wormhole.ndirect.co.uk - - http://www.wormhole.demon.co.uk http://www.wormhole.ndirect.co.uk -
