I have recently purchased a Compaq Presario 9240 and with this computer
came a program called Media pilot which is very useful because it has an
answering machine facitity.

This works very well but I have some WAV files that I whiat to use for the
answer messages. That extentions of the files that store the messages are
WAV so I though I was OK. But thje format cannot be loaded by standard WAV
editors and the Media player can load these files and standard WAV files
but it cannot convert between and store.

I therefore need a program that can convert these files.

CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE.

Thanks in advance

This is really an issue to take up with Compaq. I just spent days with a
friend's Presario and have become intimately familiar with Compaq and
Mediapilot. Compaq has done a number of hardware and operating system
tricks to create a proprietary setup. Therefore, Compaq is the one and
only place to seek help.
