This may seem like an elementary problem but I have wanted to get the
msdos prompt in a window so I can do some file maipulation on the fly.
My problem is that when I changed the .PIF file from full-screen to
windowed, and run the msdos prompt my screen changes from 800X600 to
1024X768. My monitor is okay with this but there should be a way to do
this without having the screen resolution changing (I think). Any help
would be greatly appreciated. My system is a 386/33 w/4 meg ram and the
video card is a Orchid prodesigner IIs.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanx in advance.
