Request help finding driver for older Paradise/WD video card

Greetings. I have a question which I hope someone can answer.

If at all possible, I would prefer replies to be sent to
plv@escape.com and/or plv@nyo.com by email, so as not to
clutter this newsgroup with such an arcane question.

I have a friend with an older micro who wishes to display 256
colors on their existing equipment without a hardware upgrade.
Their existing video controller is a Western Digital/Paradise
PVGA1A with 256Kb video memory and no sockets for memory
expansion. One of the video modes it supports is 640x400x256
[DOS mode 0x13]. (I have tested this mode in DOS with
diagnostics and display programs and seen it work.)

The problem is the need for an appropriate Windows 3.11 and/or
Windows for Workgroups 3.11 driver for this mode. I have
checked various locations on the 'net for drivers (specifically
including the microsoft driver library) and found nothing
suitable. The closest I found was a Paradise drivers disk from
wuarchive.wustl.edu. It includes many options, but none seem
to correspond to the exact mode available on their computer.
(I have included the list from the oemsetup.inf at the end of
this post.)

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. -oo- plv
