It blows me away how people who "apparently" hate windows 95 come to this news group
and bitch -n- moan about how much they hate it? First I would have to say about 90% of
the people here could care less on how much you hate it! If you don't like it buy warp
and shut the fuck up!
Oh yes one more thing.....BILL GATES IS A GOD!! If ibm would have listened to microsoft
they might not have the shit hole operating system they have today!

I would have to agree. As soon as I got Windows '95 I compared it with
OS/2 Warp for the ways I typically work on my machine and guess what,
os/2 went to the bit bucket. os/2 could not reliably run many windows
apps concurrently (This is the way I work), while Windows '95 has NO
trouble managing a heavy load of resource hungry applications.
I also run Linux, as I prefer a Unix type environment with its flex-
ibility and rich functionality. But as mucg as people gripe about
Win 95 and Win 3.1 being shitty OS's, they are the platforms that run
the really good apps like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Lotus, etc..
I think some brakes should be put on the kernel developers at the
moment and let's have efforts focused on getting Wine really
operational.
"If they can run their apps, People will come..."
