I am looking for an application that will backup my hard disk to another hard disk. Well really its a CD to HD. I want to make a complete backup of my Hard disk and burn it to a CD-R. My problem is restoring the CD to the HD. I have a boot disk that will init the CD drive and from there I want to execute a command that will take the CD image and restore it to the HD. I want the information on the CD to be a retrievable directory tree so I could also just restore single files (config.sys, autoexec.bat etc), so I dont want compressing or image backups. All the standard dos utils do not copy system or hidden files. eg: xcopy /Y /E D:*.* C: Note that this will be run at a DOS 6.22 prompt. -- Daryl Sayers Ph: (02) 9417 3788 Stone Group Asia Pacific Fax: (02) 9417 3741 Unit 20, 380 Eastern Valley Way Email: daryl@stone.oz.au Roseville, 2069 NSW Australia WWW: http://sydney.DIALix.oz.au/~stone
