Unix<->PC Zmodem Programs

I've been having a lot of trouble doing zmodem transfers between my PC and
a Unix workstation. I start the download on the Unix end and call up the
Zmodem on the PC, but as soon as the transfer starts, it's aborted. I'm
using Telix, but I've tried the others that I found on Simtel ZMODEM like Texas
Zmodem and PCZ. The only one that works is DSZ, but as a student I'm
trying to get away with the cheapest alternative.

I'm looking for either A) someone who's had this problem and solved it, or
B) an external Zmodem program for the PC (preferably not a full-blown
comm program, but I'd probably settle for it) that works with Unix transfers
and is either free or <=$10. Any suggestions?

Email's fine.

I could not get dsz to work from our ultrix system to my pc at all till
last night. I fixed it by switching from using qmodems internal zmodem
to dsz external zmodem, and I added the -e switch to the unix sz
command. This cleared everything up, but I still cannot upload at
9600 to unix, I get flow errors, I can upload at 2400 using the -e
switch at the pc end. Does anyone know how to make dsz control flow
a little bit better? I've tried all the handskake options and also the
-w switch.

thanks.
