Stacker 3: Can the driver be loaded high?

I'm thinking about getting Stacker 3, but I'm worried about the driver for this program being too big in memory. I've heard that it is over 40K in size. I know it can use EMS to shrink itself down, but Stacker users say that EMS can cause problems. So, can I load the driver high with MS-dos 5? I have tons of UMB space. Thanks! -- ================================== ILAN ====================================== Unsolved mysteries: What is so BAD about leaving the toilet seat up?? ==================(Robert) Bobby Yung_______RY01@Lehigh.Edu===================

I've used it all the time, from version 2.0 to 3.0, and it has always worked like a charm! Robert

I have tons of UMB space. Thanks! Yes, you can load the whole works high, but you're going to need whacking great amounts of contiguous space up high. I use QEMM 6.03 for my memory manager, and unless I use Stealth I do not have a large enough contiguous block to put it in. -- "Insisting on perfect safety is for people who don't have the balls to live in the real world." -- Mary Shafer, NASA Ames Dryden ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fred.McCall@dseg.ti.com - I don't speak for others and they don't speak for me.
