Hi, I'm not sure this is the right newsgroup so if this article belongs
somewhere else, please e-mail me.

I'm considering buying a CD-ROM player. I have noticed that CD Speedway has
had big claims that its cache is the 'greatest'. Has anyone had any
with CD Speedway that they would like to share? How well does it behave
with Windows 3.1. Are their claims accurate?

Thanks

I wasn't impressed at all, and I configured it to use a 5 MB cache file
located on a 10 MB RAM drive. It also conflicts with 386MAX in a way
that kept Windows from running, and since I need 386MAX and Windows, CD
Speedway got tossed. You're better off getting a faster CD-ROM.

For me it was a waste of $70. Your mileage may vary..
